Company Background/History
Baduzah Trading Enterprise (Pty) Ltd (“Baduzah” or the “Company”) was established in 2014 by Mr. Aubrey Ngobeni (“Mr. Ngobeni”). It is a 100% black-owned company based in Makhushane Village in the Limpopo Province. Baduzah specializes in Logistics, Engineering and Construction and provides services to organizations, mines and companies in the Limpopo province.

- Baduzah proposes a strategic partnership with PMC on end-to-end (plant to port) operations in the transportation of Iron Ore to assist PMC to rail more volumes at an attractive and cost-effective rate per ton with quality and rapid speed at our siding
- Baduzah has secured an agreement with Transnet pertaining the allocation of four (4) trains daily for the transportation of Iron Ore cargo from Phalaborwa to Mozambique or Richards Bay.
- This contract has already been signed on a lower rate and could unlock more capacity of locomotives as part of empowering a transformed player in the industry.
- Having Baduzah as a strategic partner for this process will create local jobs in excess of 150 persons with various skillsets.

Value Proposition
Baduzah proposes an empowered strategic partnership with the Phalaborwa Mining Company (“PMC”) to provide end-to-end transportation of Iron Ore cargo; this includes:
- Load and hauling services at an efficient manner and cost effective rate
- Transportation of Magnetite from PMC to Baduzah siding using trucks with a distance of 8 kilometers
- Transportation of Magnetite from Baduzah siding to Mozambique and/or Richards Bay using trains
- Baduzah siding has a capacity to load between 45 250 – 120 667 tons per week
- Socio-economic empowerment enabled by PMC and implemented by Baduzah through job creation of local people and youth
- Socio-economic development of Phalaborwa youth through learnership and internship programmes driven by mining technology such as drone technology in mining operations; which will be enabled by the strategic partnership
- Baduzah also sees a longer-term partnership with PMC that can create unique opportunities for both businesses as well as provide benefits for the community at large.
Value Proposition Scope of Work
- Load and hauling magnetite using 2 x 72 tons Excavator into 6 x B40s to off load at the batch plant.
- Loading into 34 tons site tippers using 11 tons Front-End Loaders.
- Transportation of Magnetite from the mine by 34 tons road trucks site tippers to Baduzah siding
- Off-loading of magnetite from road trucks at the siding.
- Loading of magnetite into train rail wagons 24-hour shift using Front-end Loaders with loading cells.
- Oversee the weighing of wagons using in-motional weighbridge and compiling the necessary dispatch documents.
- Real-time ton audit of each wagon using drone technology automated volumetric calculations
- Tarping the rail wagons as per the TFR Standard.
- Siding maintenance and Maintenance of the rail tracks.
- Stockpile management driven by drone technology.
- Transportation of magnetite by trains/rail to Maputo and/or Richards bay
- 2-hour security surveillance using thermal cameras through drones and armed ground forces at siding
Security
Thermal cameras will be used to monitor all movement and stockpiles at the loading area and siding. The cameras will be in operation 24 hours in a day with an integration to drone technology for perimeter surveillance.
